This is a pepper mill made to look like an antique grinder. The wood on the top is a laminated Birch in the colors of red, white and brown. Basically the birch is sliced into thin pieces and dyed, then glued together into a block. The bottom is a piece of Mahogony pod wood. The two woods are glued together and turned on a lathe.
