This is a pepper and salt mill set ceramic grinder for the mill, the black line designates salt or pepper. The mills are a T- Handle that you would have to push down the spring and remove the pin to fill the mill. The fill area is about 5 inches high, so it holds a lot of pepper/salt. The wood is a laminated Birch. Basically, the birch is cut very thinly and dyed the glued together to make a block of wood. This one is Black and White.
