This is a pepper mill made to look like an antique grinder and a ceramic grinder for the salt mill. The wood is a laminated colored birch in Yellow, Green, Red, and Brown. Basically, the birch is sliced into thin pieces and dyed, then glued together into a block then turned on the lathe into a shape.
