A cutting board is a durable board on which to place material for cutting. The kitchen cutting board is commonly used in preparing food and you will need to wash very frequently. From time to time you want to reapply a protective oil to your board to keep it looking in tip top condition. Here is the proper oil and wax to do so. The wax is to be applied and rubbed in with a soft sponge then wipe off the access. Which may not need to be done very frequently (a few times a year). The oil however you can apply as often as you like and can also be used for cleaning furniture.
Wax ingredients: Bees wax, Carnuba wax, Mineral oil, Orange oil, and Lemon oil.
Oil ingredients: Mineral oil, Orange oil, and Lemon oil.
